Fans of Motown can relive all the classics with The Temptations, live at Horseshoe Tunica on Friday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m.

The original group formed in Detroit in the early ‘60s. The Temptations is best known for their flawless harmonies, choreography and matching, flashy wardrobe. The group paved the way for R&B and soul musicwith timeless classics like “My Girl,” “The Way You Do The Things You Do,” “Ain’t Too Proud To Beg,” “Papa Was A Rolling Stone,” “Get Ready,” “I Wish It Would Rain” and “Just My Imagination (Running Away With Me),” among many others. Several R&B groups such as The Delfonics, Hall & Oates, New Edition, Boyz II Men and many more draw their inspiration from the legendary soul group.

The Grammy Award-winning band received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013 and also made Rolling Stone magazine’s “100 Greatest Artists Of All Time” list.

While the members have since changed, the legacy lives on when you see The Temptations live in concert this winter.
